VIA HAND DELIVERY AND EMAIL AS AVAILABLE

Dear Residents of units 483, 485, 487, 489, 493, 495, 497, 499,

UPDATE: Buildings 8 and 9 are almost ready for the first inspection prior to the shingle installation. Building 7 may start this week. It is advised that you start your preparations now. Please find your unit number below for the corresponding building number.  There was an error in the previous memo which has since been corrected.  Please keep in mind that weather plays a large part in how quickly the work progresses therefore, an exact start date cannot be provided.  We appreciate your patience and flexibility.

We are happy to advise you that the roof replacements will continue with work starting again on Monday, July 8th, in building 8.  Almeida Industries, Inc., the roofing company, is posting a preconstruction notice and expected debris notice today.  Please review that notice and prepare the work areas accordingly.

In preparation for the work you must remove satellite dishes from the roof. If you do not remove them, the contractor will do so, and you will be billed the cost for the dish removal. The amount billed to the Association will be added to your ledger. The contractors and the Association will not be responsible for your satellite dish. Satellite dishes will not be allowed to be re-installed on the new roofs. Roof access for any reason must first be approved by the Association. Vendors will have to provide proof of insurance and their license information before being granted access to the roof.

We also ask that you cover all patio and interior furniture and/or appliances. There could be dust some dust that falls inside your home when the roof is being worked on so as a precaution, we ask that you cover your furniture inside the home as well.

There will be times that we will ask that you move your vehicles so that the dump trucks and other work trucks can get in close to the areas they are working on. Please respect the requests so that the work is not slowed down.

The proposed schedule anticipates approximately one week per building.  The order of buildings is projected to be

Building 8 (units 505, 509, 513, 517, 521, 525, 527)

Building 9 (units 465, 467, 469, 471, 475, 477, 479)

Building 7 (units 493, 495, 497, 499)

Building 6 (units 483, 485, 487, 489)

Building 10 (units 449,451, 453, 455, 457, 459, 461)

We will post updates weekly regarding the progress.  We appreciate your patience as we work to replace the roofs in the community.

Thank you.
