Dear Residents,

As you are aware, our contractor, Renovac Corporation, has been working under extremely difficult conditions for the past few months. Therefore, they are going to take a two week break when they finish unit 431 this week. Weather permitting, they will be back on the property Monday, September 27, 2021. Because some residents are not reading the entire memo, again we also ask that you do NOT make requests (or criticisms) directly to the contractor, as this slows the progress of work. The contractors work at the direction of the board and the management company, should you have comments or concerns, communicate through the owner portal, Tenants please contact your landlord. We ask for your continued patience, as the trellises will be stained soon, DO NOT paint your trellis.

Please see page 2 regarding how you can prepare for the work.

Work progression will be an entire building before moving to the next building.

We also ask that while your unit’s trellis or facia is being worked on, you remove cars from your assigned parking spaces during the day, to allow the contractors necessary space for equipment to install wood, new beam support concrete pads (footings) and maneuvering large pieces of wood. Neither the contractor nor the Association will be liable for damage to cars or personal belongings the resident has failed to move.

Updates on progress and schedule will be posted in the owner’s portal (log-in required) via the website www.villagetownhousesjacaranda.com. Please ensure that you check and keep yourselves appraised as to when your building will be having work carried out. Owners are responsible for appraising or updating their tenants. Tenants may access the updated memos on the website (no log-in required) via the above website and selecting “Blog” on the webpage.

As a reminder, to maintain the integrity and prolong the life of our buildings please do not attached items to the exterior walls of the buildings, modify the exterior in any way nor allow plants to grow in and around the building or trellises. This includes hanging anything from the trellis fence or rafters. Please refer to the governing documents and the Association’s Rules and Regulations which can be found on the website address given above.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding while the necessary maintenance is performed. Expect at times it may be noisy during wood installation and we apologize in advance for those that work at home.
